Lighter and faster Suzuki motorcycles

One of the fastest motorcycles – Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa can be even faster now.

The Yoshimura company has developed a lightweight exhaust system for ultrafast model of Suzuki Hayabusa and the popular B-King motorcycle.

The new system weighs only 5,6 kg – it's 75% lighter than the standard one of Suzuki which weighs 21 kg. According to the developers, the design significantly improves the characteristics of engine, but how – it's kept secret.

A tuning component does not exceed the noise limit (daytime) of 99 decibels. Nozzles for silencer are removable: while dismantling these, the characteristics of motorcycle are improved, but the noise being made does not meet the European requirements.

The designers offer a few variants of exhaust systems: of stainless steel, titanium or carbon fiber. Being ready-fitted its cost ranges from £904 to £1017.

A similar kit has been designed for tuning of Suzuki B-King. Installation of an improved exhaust system will make the motorcycle lighter in weight to 2,9 kg.

Yamaha VMAX 2009

By choosing bikes, many buyers direct their attention to the high-speed preference. Someone likes rushing with rocket acceleration, while the others choose to slowly slip on the road mirror by a chrome motorcycle. Apparently aiming to please both types of customers, the Yamaha company has been producing its Yamaha VMAX motorcycles for a long time. Now, this model has been updated once again and launched on the market.
Design of VMAX has been changed multiple times, but the buyers will get the bike that will look like in the picture below.

Engine volume of 1600 CC and 200 hp, and all this weighs nearly 400 kg. What, huh?
Constructors of motorcycle promised to eliminate such childhood diseases as not quite adequate brakes, which the younger models of Yamaha VMAX motorcycles were equipped with. There should be more obedient management.
But the most interesting thing is that the selling price for the motorcycle will be about $18,000, and it is supposed that such a price will be an additional incentive to purchase new Yamaha VMAX motorcycles.
